Swisher employees took to the streets of Jacksonville on July 25, 2020 and participated in The Salvation Army’s Kettle Krush 5K. Nearly 30 Swisher team members completed the run and helped raise over $1,100 for The Salvation Army.
The Kettle Krush 5K is a community fundraising event for The Salvation Army and for the men, women and children whose lives will be changed. The Salvation Army is “krushing” hunger and homelessness and offering hope and a fresh start to families right here in our community.
“Swisher has always enjoyed partnering with The Salvation Army and the Kettle Krush is just another way we can help them support our community,” said Marian Minosa-Yertzell, Swisher Service’s sports coordinator. “We firmly believe in The Salvation Army’s mission to meet human need without discrimination and those principles will continue to guide what we do with the Swisher Service program.”
